Den har den kendte krydrede duft og smag, som man forbinder med tysk hvedeøl, uden overdrevet sødme. Aprilsnar er, som Wintercoats øvrige øl, meget velbalanceret, med en forbavsende blød og fyldig smag for en øl af denne styrke. Men man skal ikke lade sig narre af den blide smag - procenterne holder!
English: This dark, rich Weizenbock deviates from our main line of beers, as it is definitely NOT English by style. It was brewed for release in April 2006 hence the name. It has the spicy nose and taste one would expect from a German wheat beer, combined with a full-bodied maltiness without being cloyingly sweet. It has a surpisingly soft, well-balanced taste and mouthfeel for a beer of this strength, but don’t be fooled - it packs a 7.8% punch!
