Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan Style: Scottish Ale | Ratings: 3 | Winter Seasonal | Alcohol: 4.8% This is a classic Scottish-style Export Ale. It is richly malty and yet extremely balanced and quaffable. One single kettle dosage of the wonderfully floral and spicy American hop Glacier provides a zesty ballast to the juicy-fruit maltiness. Fermented and conditioned at low ale temperatures, there is a particularly clean and round character to this liquid Scottish treat. This very limited beer is available on draught only at the Fishmarket Taproom and select Baird Beer retailers in Japan
