0.5 l bottle at Timo A’s. Golden color. Copper color with particulates. Sweetish flowery aroma. Citrusy, minerally and bitter flavor with lemon, some nuts and tart fruits. Medium body, not so soft tannic palate.

The head is stable. The taste is mild, less hoppy-grassy, a bit malty. Maybe dry hopped with old hops? There is not much taste insite! 10/7/6/7/11/8

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, fine hoppy, not too dry. Flowery-grasy notes. Finish milder, well balanced, quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle, bought @ Bierzwerg.de. Hazy orange golden with a nice, creamy, white head. Aroma has sweet malts, light caramel, light grapefruit, mild peach. Medium to high carbonation, fine dry and light grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, some sugary dough, grassy, light grapefruit. Quite bitter, lingering finish.

Bottled 33cl. Inviting aroma of citrusy hops, sweat, grapefruit and tea. Leafy. Good malt back. Nice bitterness. Medium bodied. Balanced. Dry finish which makes you eager to take another sip. Rather pleasant. I enjoyed this beer more than Ratsherrn pale ale (more resinous hops, better head retention).

(33 cl bottle) Orange, hay, with chunks of sediment and a medium, tan head. Smells fruity (grapefruit, pineapple). Aroma has some pine needles and herbal notes as well, with hints of caramel and roasted malts that go along. But: fruity aroma could be stronger. Taste is medium bitter and lightly sweet. Drank it in direct comparison to their regular pale ale some days ago. No big differences, but the latter seemed a touch less malty and had a buttery note. But back to the festival beer: I’m happy about its availability in my local drinks market, but I wouldn’t necessarily choose it to initiate newbies to the APA style.

Hazy golden color with tiny particles and small head. Not so much aroma, some grapefruit. Flavor is hops, malt.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12.06?.2013
Aroma is quite grainy with some gooseberry bush – feels like a lager. Also some sweetish fruits. Flavour is hoppy with gooseberry bush and grapefruit. On the first sips there was also rather strong lager-like grainy malt. Did not pair very well with my quattro stagioni. Too stale and too low on fruits.

(bottle) pours a hazy golden colour with lots of tiny floaties and a frothy off-white head. aroma of pineapples, oranges, light milk chocolate and earth, with a light hint of caramel. flavour is mostly the same, citrus fruits, pale malts and slightly earthy, with a hint of roasted grain and a slightly phenolic bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.
