bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy deep golden colour, large and creamy off-white head. Lovely hop aroma, resiny and citrusy. Intensive malty base transporting the intense hop flavours, on the one hand American citrus flavours, on the other hand grassy, resiny European hop flavours, as in the aroma. Delicious!

Bottled 33cl. Inviting aroma of citrusy hops, sweat, grapefruit and tea. Leafy. Good malt back. Nice bitterness. Medium bodied. Balanced. Dry finish which makes you eager to take another sip. Rather pleasant. I enjoyed this beer more than Ratsherrn pale ale (more resinous hops, better head retention).

Kristall-König (2312) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - SEP 2, 2012
Sehr floraler Geruch. Startet zunächst recht süß, um bald ins Bittere umzuschwenken, zitrusartig. Sehr blumig und trockenbitter abgehend. Ähnelt dem Pale Ale dieser Brauerei, gibt sich aber noch lieblicher und sanfter. Gut.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a tall off-white foamy head. Citric, resiny and slightly floral hoppy aroma with a mildly cara-malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry (cara-)malty taste with present fruity and resiny hops, keeping the dry character towards the moderately bitter finish, again with a good dash of citrus fruity and resiny hoppy flavours. Probably even a bit better and more courageous than their Pale Ale mainly brewed with US-hops. 08.IX.12

Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of yeast. floral hops and exotic fruits. Flavour of strong fresh floral hops, exotic fruits, grass and some yeastiness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes floral, bitter and yeasty. Their best brew so far.

Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours hazy amber colored with small creamy head. Smell is strong hoppy , with citrus fruits and slight floral nuances. Starts with lots of aroma hops, lots of citrus and pine woods. Soft carbonation. Middle part is more bitter, with lots of pine woods and citrussy hops. Goes into a bitter-dry, floral-hoppy finish with some grapefruit.

0,33 l bottle at home. Stylish label art design with a young marine girl. Unclear and golden in the glass, high carbonation, proud white head. A lot of flowery hop on the nose. Five different hops are listed on the backside label, and that´s what you taste at the start. A compact Pale Ale with a pleasant longlasting hop taste. Later low citrus components. A good german Pale Ale. (7. Sept. 2012)

Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and light fruitiness, light piney and grapefruit hoppyness.
