COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Enormous thanks to my mom and some friends (Ana & Karolina) for bringing this from Hamburg! Poured a dark amber-brown body with a small off white head. Heavy malty nose, just maltiness. Light grainy malty taste, maybe caramel, some dog food, very light hop. A solid malt-driven lager, with no major flows other than it’s not my style - glad to have tried it.

Appearance: Clear copper color with a small tan head.
Aroma: Slightly sweet caramel malty.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Dominating caramel malt and mild hoppy.
Overall impression: Decent beer, Anyway sadly just the usual amber lager stuff..
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Grima

Bottle 33cl from Quack-Duck a clear amber red beer with head that goes quickly. Nose is interesting on caramel and burnt caramel. Aroma is malty, toasted, burnt caramel touch, mostly dry, bit spicy, light vinous and vanilla notes, relatively complex. Finish is bitter with a peppery feeling, floral hops, light metallic touch and caramel astringency. English kind of profile.

The head is ok, the body red and clear. It smells very malt aromatic, fruity a bit amarena-cherry, fruity, a bit barley. The taste is full bodied, maltaromatic, a bit bitter-hoppy, a bit dusty-barley. Nice! 11/11/12/11/11/11

26/12 0.33 l bottle, courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured clear copper brownish body with small head. Malty caramel aroma, but rather dry, touched with light citrus hops. Flavor was lightly sweet, nicely toasted: caramel, brown sugar, some biscuit, toast, going to a bit dryer things gradually, when some herbal hops are showed in the finish, besides caramel which was dominating all the way through. Pretty full bodied. Really nice and enjoyable Vienna.

330ml bottle. Clear, wonderfully deep red colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, tan head. Toasted, caramel malty aroma with a grainy touch and hints of red berries. Taste is dry, malty, minimally grainy, has a tart touch, dry minimally husky finish on the edge to soapyness.
