330 ml bottle.
Pours a dark copper amber colour with a thick white head. Aroma of strong grassy hops and biscuity malts. Rather rich flavour of grassy hops, biscuity malts, strong nuts, herbs and some toffee. Medium bodied, rough mouthfeel and a malty, bitter and nutty finish. Good stuff.

The head is ok, the body red and clear. It smells very malt aromatic, fruity a bit amarena-cherry, fruity, a bit barley. The taste is full bodied, maltaromatic, a bit bitter-hoppy, a bit dusty-barley. Nice! 11/11/12/11/11/11

from bottle. pours an amber to red colour with a frothy beige head. quite malty, roasty aroma with lots of caramel and toffee in it paired with a subtle hoppiness that reminds me of pine needles, fresh forest air and resin. there are some dark fruit notes to it as well. spectacular aroma profile! average carbonation, light to medium body and kind of oily texture. medium bitterness mixed with a slight sweetness. well balanced malty and hoppy notes. good beer!

Nice surprise from ratsherrn as this one is quite unusual fir a vienna with some hops dominating in aroma and taste. Quite good.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (4197) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Bottle by 13.03.13. Great nose, really doughy and lightly spicy malt, caramel with burnt bread crusts and even a little pumpernickel, beautiful (and unusual!) dark garnet pour with a rocky tan head. Watery light body with some caramel, fizzy with faint bitterness, but thankfully isn’t all that sweet, and so wins on balance points. There are some dirty bitter burned notes, almost ashy, which come to dominate at the finish and beyond, but the overall impression is a good one.

Bottle from the brewery tap, pours a mahogany-red with a fluffy light beige head, grassy hops and caramel on the nose, some initial roastiness in the mouth, then some burnt toffee coming through along with herby grassy dry-bitter hops, finishing with a burnt-bitter edge.

Clear ruby colour with steady head and medium to smooth body. Nose of light spicy hops. Taste of light malt, hazelnuts, copper, light spicy hops, pink pepper and toffee. Easy to drink and really quaffable. Nice one.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3612) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 28, 2012
Enormous thanks to my mom and some friends (Ana & Karolina) for bringing this from Hamburg! Poured a dark amber-brown body with a small off white head. Heavy malty nose, just maltiness. Light grainy malty taste, maybe caramel, some dog food, very light hop. A solid malt-driven lager, with no major flows other than it’s not my style - glad to have tried it.

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, clear, yellowish mid-sized off-white head, toasty-malty and fruity nose with a very faint metallic tinge; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering nutty-fruity finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Yes, O.K.…
