In the bottle at the Brickskeller. This is a boring lager. Pours light gold with an off-white head. The fizzy palate produces big burps. Not much else. Lame.

Bottle that I picked up Bremen, Germany and consumed at Landsmeer, campsite, Amsterdam, 29-10-09 Pours copper in colour with a white head, bubbly, busy carbonation. Touch metallic in mouth, its actually quite gassy is this. Soft mouthfeel, but touch thin and watery, maltines and bitterness ok, but its a touch bland and tasteless, lacks body for a 5.5% beer. Bottle. A clear copper color pour with a small white head , medium to light carbonation . Aroma is light with a touch of grass some sweet clean malt garin, very faint floral hop notes. Flavor is very balanced slightly bready malt with just a bit of hops to even things out. Very clean crisp mouthfeel , light body . A very sessionable brew, with no huge flavors or aromas yet pretty darn good .

355 ml bottle. From Germany. Deep copper colour with small off-white head. Bready, malty and grainy aroma. Sweetish grassy flavour with citrus and malt. Nothing exceptional but okay.

Draft at the 2009 MD Spring Fest. Tastes Oktoberfesty to me. Filtered orange-tan color. Almost tastes fined. Drinkable and smooth with a quality yeast taste. Well done.

Draft at Beer Bourbon and BBQ Festival in Richmond VA on 5-30-09. Clear gold. Nose is grassy, bready, light butter and grains. Taste is sweet malt, grass, bread notes, toasted malt, and light biscuit. Body is soft and creamy. Medium overall. Ends with more sweet malt, light corny notes and more grass.

Bottle: Medium depth copper with a thin head. Aroma is sweet and malty with a touch of grass. Light flavor is relatively sweet and again touches down with malt and grass. Slight florals. Thanks to nimbleprop.
