COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pendulum Pilsner is a rich velvet smooth, yet clean, dry and crisp pilsner of a pale gold color. The complex mix of hops and malt creates an elegant floral nose and delightful taste that is very drinkable without overwhelming even the most tepid beer drinker. Not overly bitter but just enough of the hop to enjoy their subtle complexities while still enjoying the smooth, and almost sweet taste of the malt. Serve Pendulum in a tall glass to enjoy the carbonated bead and the steady white head that laces the glass and taste why Pendulum Pilsner is a cut above the rest.

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold body under a small fizzy white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is a touch too sweet smelling with some bready and doughy pale maltiness. Not much in the way of hops to speak about. The flavor is a little too sweet as well, and tastes a bit like there’s some corn in here. Very lightly hopped, with minimal to no bitterness. Finishes with some sweet bready maltiness. Light bodied and a bit clingy with soft minimal carbonation. Pretty lackluster Pilsner.

Poured from a bottle. Clear fizzy orange color, no head. Sweat grain aroma. Good initial grain taste with a real subtle finish, nice drinkability. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not much of an aroma but a great golden colour and full head that dissipates quickly. A smooth taste of grain and yeast with a slightly metallic finish that doesn’t last.

The commercial description pretty much is dead on here. It could be a good gateway beer for the macro drinker. Avg aroma, ok pour, but a clean, solid, and crisp taste. It has a nice balance between hop and malt. It’s still a pilsner but certainly a drinkable one!

Bottle. Very average pilsner with lots of carbonation, clear, yellow gold. Some mustiness in the taste. Okay, but not special.

Bottle from Shawan Liquors. Pours dark golden with a thin white head. Has a kind of grassy funk on the nose. Crisp and clean on the tongue. Doesn’t have much of.a hop presence. Eh!

12 oz bottle - clean grassy a bit sweet with a full pils flavor - just the slightest bit cloying and a bit too safe. Slightly above average for a micro pils. I bought a six pack - will save the rest for my less adventurous friends ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
