12oz bottle, thanks to Pat H. for this one. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent lace, a few dots. Good head retention. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lightly soft, light to moderate strength carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Kind of a bready malt, light caramel. Lightly peppery. Some hints of citrus rind. Moderate bitter taste. Light to moderate sweet. Light tanginess. OK pils.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Golden and still, little to no head whatsoever. Drinks smooth and clean, but is uber-malty, or at best virtually flavorless. Perhaps made to compete with the macros, and does so admirably. But not much to this, beyond an everyday lager. (#5768, 10/2/2014)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured a pretty clear golden yellow color with a large white head. Aroma was toasted malts, some light grain. Plenty of crystal. Flavor was crisp and clean malts, some earthy and floral hop notes. Pretty clean, easy to drink - a pretty good Pilsner.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear light gold body under a small fizzy white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is a touch too sweet smelling with some bready and doughy pale maltiness. Not much in the way of hops to speak about. The flavor is a little too sweet as well, and tastes a bit like there’s some corn in here. Very lightly hopped, with minimal to no bitterness. Finishes with some sweet bready maltiness. Light bodied and a bit clingy with soft minimal carbonation. Pretty lackluster Pilsner.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nose is light citrus, bready. Pours rich golden with above-avg carb and a fizzy beige head. Taste lightly sweet, plain but pleasant malt, not all that crisp, dries out in the finish, very light grassy and juicy hops, faint mineral touch, body feels more like an ale than a pilsner. Clean and hits the spot, good lawnmower beer but doesn’t stand up to thoughtful reflection.
