COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Your first experience with this IPA is the citrus bouquet from its rocky white head. The initial taste is subdued but gradually becomes intense without any harsh bitterness. The Heartier the Better.

On tap at The Corner Stable, Columbia: pours a clear deep copper golden with a clingy-lacing froth of off-white head. Has a lightly sweet toasted caramel malty nose with lots of fresh citrusy hops. Starts with good body and fine carbonation revealing sweet light caramel malt well-balanced with assertive grapefruity hop flavor and bitterness before a drier crisp bittersweet finish. True to style and enjoyable.

Tap. Pours clear amber with thin, creamy white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, caramel and cookie malts, dates, and light toast. Flavor is balanced bready malts and floral hops with supporting grassy notes, light fruit esters, and faint herbs; dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Thin, off white head thats short lived with skimpy lacing. Slight haze on this copper colored brew. Gentle nose of bready malts and berries. Body is lightly medium with a soft carbonation, dry on the palate. Dry, grainy malt flavors, notes of berries and slight citrus hop notes. Fairly dry finish with a tame bitterness. A malt forward IPA. Actually, better than expected. 12oz bottle from statelineliquors.

Bottle->SA. Name is slightly different as "Tell Tale Heart" without the "y" though is seemingly same beer. Copper with foamy offwhite head. Aroma: strong herbal and citrus hops. Taste: same, but not as pungent. Great smooth palate with nice bite.

On tap 6 oz. pour at Judges Bench in Ellicott City, MD Clear, bright amber with a creamy off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, citrus and caramel. Taste of herbal hops, citrus, bread and grain with a bitter hop finish. The bitter hops come through strongly due to a dearth of balancing sweet malt. Medium body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
