Cask (gravity dispense) at Nottingham Beer festival, Day 2 on 9 October 2014. Near black with a lasting tan head. Good mix of chocolate and roasty notes in the flavour. The same, but more restrained, in the aroma. Maybe a hint of coffee. There’s a quite firm hop bitterness here too. Good drinkability. Fine.
