Cask (gravity dispense) at Nottingham Beer festival, Day 2 on 9 October 2014. Listed in the festival programme just as Raw Blonde but I guess it’s the same beer. Clear pale gold with a thin white head. Clean and fresh on the palate. Some zesty citrus. Nicely done easy drinker with a decent bite.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask@The Criterion, Leicester. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is bitter and roasted with plenty of hops. Overall a nice very bitter English pale ale type beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 29/02/2012. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, peaches and pine. Flavour was also sweet, with a buttery edge, some orange fruit and a lengthy bitter finish. Didn’t work for me.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. Sharp, light beer with an acidic, spruce like flavour, quite perfumed and a little odd. The astringency from the hop tends to dominate.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask, gravity, at St Neots Beer Festival ’11. Gold with a small white head. Faint sweet malt aroma with some overlying sulphur. Rather a rough brown papery taste and a sharp bitter finish. Not much subtlety here, and not the best to be honest
