Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’12. Hazy gold with slight head. There is a dry leafiness to this beer, quite autumn like, bitter orange, there is a hoppy buzz, lasting with a herby side note, I liked it even though it was just a little green.

Very sweet, white grape aromas, rather bitter finish but offset quite well by a sweet, fruity malt and hop body.

Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Golden with a firm white foam. Aromas are Jacobs crackers with floral notes and some nuttiness. Resinous lemon with tinned pineapple juice and pithy grapefruit. Yeasty with some melon. Flavours are biscuit malts with dusty yeast. Bittersweet fruit with a pithy, dry finish. Another good Raw brew.

Cask, handpump at Veritas, Leeds 18.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Pours mid gold with a slim white head. Really furry in the mouth with a buzzy bitterness. Dry and very moreish, superbly hoppy, fresh and juicy, marvellous. A7 A5 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9
