Cask by hand-pump at Pot Still, Glasgow - clear deep amber brown, very thin creamy beige head, weak malty aroma, excellent film of fine lacing, sweet, biscuit, caramel, but of fruit, good carbonation, easy to drink

Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Dark brown with a thin foam. Aromas are nutty with weetabix and raisins. Autumn pear and leaves with hints of pine and dusty yeast. Flavours are initially sweet malts soon overcome by pine and grapefruit bitterness. Dry tea with some herbal, leafy aspects. A solid bitter.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 30/09/12. Clear chestnut brown with a thin off-white head. Dark malts on the nose but immediately backed up by peas and a vegetal aroma - meh ! Malts in the taste, some toffee, hard to taste through the uninviting nose. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. I’ve had some decent enough beers from Raw in the last year or so, this was definately bottom of the pile by some way. Bad aroma ansd dull !

Cask @ 2nd Saltburn Beer Festival. A hazy red/brown colored beer, with a small beige head. The aroma of red fruits with some hop bitter. The taste of sweet, fruity with caramel. A little bitter. The aftertaste is bittersweet.
