3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jbak (110) - Torrington, Connecticut, USA - DEC 31, 2002
Very large white fluffy head that lasts forever, this takes a while to pour. A mild sweet aroma with a hint of bitterness. Malty flavor that ends with a nice spicy aftertaste. Quite enjoyable but I doubt I’d buy this again.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 27, 2002
Enormously foamy head. Be prepared to wait for a while. Afterwards, be ready for a dry fruity taste with a sharp bitterness in the finish. The sweetness isn’t overpowering and gives a nice balance to the spicyness also found in this one.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 I.C.suds (189) - Da U.P. eh?, Michigan, USA - DEC 26, 2002
I had this beer on Christmas. Excellent example of English brewing. Completely unique but well within the style. Fruit/spice was mellowed by the rich malt sweetness and an unbelieveable yeasty/hoppy finish. If you mixed Old Peculier with Hen’s Tooth you might get this.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Schroppfy (2350) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - DEC 25, 2002
Spicy, dry, not too sweet for me (but we’ll see as it warms), nice earthiness to this one. Quite strong alcohol presence, which I normally like far less than in here. Hmmm...it’s starting to get really nutmeggy around here!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Drew (2413) - Kent, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2002
Red/amber colored. Nice spicy/fruity malts and a nice bitterness at the end. Could be a good session ale, but might get too sweet after a few.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Indra (2476) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - NOV 24, 2002
Aroma like a well-stocked spice rack. Medium amber color with a lasting, massively fluffy head. Flavor is citric, spicy, faintly sweet, and has some leafy hop bitterness. Finish is fruity, bready and lightly acidic, dry and tangy. Medium bodied. Sweetens out a bit as it warms. Interesting enough.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rockinout (966) - Kent, Ohio, USA - NOV 18, 2002
2002. Cloudy amber medium body, light, crisp mouthfeel. Thick head, earthy, coriander, leathery nose. Spicy rum toward the finish.

Bubbly, cloudy light brown appearance. Alcohol, a little fruit and some yeast in the nose. Alcohol, light chocolate, bitter hop finish and a touch of cloves at the end, and that is all the spice that I encountered from a vast collection accounted for on the bottle. Not a bad brew.

Cloudy with orange scent, white head, average size bubbles. Sharp, spicy, alcoholic, bitter. Cloves on the end.

Dull light brown; aroma is slightly spicy, yeasty; slight cinnamon, earthy malt, and dry yeastiness.
