3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 12, 2011 Orange marmalade colour with a small white head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Rather fizzy. The taste is fruity: grapefruit, with a little alcohol and a bitterness that reminded me of a good IPA. 22.12.07 Thought the taste was more malty and very sweet. 12.4.11 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper with a small white head. Sweet malt aroma. Leafy taste that I thought needed a little more sweetness to cheer it up. Sharp bitterness to follow. Rating: 6,3,6,4,12:3.1

Bottle conditioned, 500ml. Golden beer with white bubbly head. The beerhas a sharpish, pine needle aroma and taste but also a treacley note too. Quite complex in its impact, but the flavours work well together. Lasting and bitter throughout the beer, quite an enjoyable and interesting beer.
