3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle, poured into a straight Firkin Off Licence pint glass. Rather fitting as this long defunct outlet was where I first came across RCH brews many moons ago. Darkish brown with a light creamy head, marshmallow aroma with a good, malt & hop taste. Sweetish with some fruit & caramel, the epitome of a good English bitter.

Bottle from the Hog’s Back Brewery Shop. An amber ale with a small white head. Quite fruity with some apple, caramel, and maybe a little balsamic vinegar. Full of flavour and nice and drinkable, though not spectacular.
