Aroma of roasted chestnuts, sugar, and coffee. Maybe burnt cinnamon. Taste is stale coffee and sourness like someone left the coffee filter in the coffee pot for a week. tarjei (1745), Bryne, Norway

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Very impressive malty first taste. BLACK, with a very slight tan head that sits on top. Smells sweet, but finishes very clean. Definitely a must-try. Gr0ve (1393), Oslo, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2007 500 ml bottle. Black, but lets quite a bit of light through, so perhaps deserves to be called dark brown instead? Throws a tall fine-laced beige head that really clings to the glass. Roasted barley aroma. Quite clean and enhanced by grassy English hops. Watery flavour with a little roastes character and a little sweetness towards the finish, but overall this is a rather light beer. Could have used a lot more malts. A bit bland and boring, but OK for a beer this low in alcohol. aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA
