beachbum25 (778), Powellville, Maryland, USA Apr 17, 2007 500 Ml Bottle-Pours a very dark mahogany red w/a moderate tan bubbly head. Had a little bit of a hopped/carbinated aroma. Decent flavored porter, some traces of chocolate & burnt malt, with a little bit of a carbinated/coffee flavor to it. Kind of thin, but had a long rich finish. Solid, not spectacular. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Apr 9, 2007 Updated: Dec 15, 2007deep depp brown, with a bournvill dark chocolate pallate, gets better as you settle into it.

scored up 3.4 ->3.7 tk 3 3.7->3.6 yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 28, 2007 Bottled. A clear, dark brown beer with a nice beige head leaving lacings. Roasted aroma with some coffee and a vague hint of chocolate. Coffee, burnt malt and some chocolate-notes in the flavor. Too thin-bodied. Long, coffee-bitter finish with some fruityness. A bit one-dimentional, maybe some food or snack could to the trick? (070321) Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Mar 27, 2007 I think this had been on for a few days. Aroma is seriously fruity, no sign of roasted malt at all, perhaps a touch of citrus fruit. Taste is similar again seriously fruity very drinkable, but it was about 1/2 a day away from turning i recon.
