Nov 23, 2003 A dark ruby red beer with a small brown head. The aroma is very light of chocolate. The flavor is of roasted malts and chocolate which in the middle is taken over by notes of coffee combined with some sourness. It ends on a rather dry note both from hops and malts.

Dec 18, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Very dark brown, close to black, with a vague underlying reddish tint. Creamy, beige head leaving a pretty lacework. Aroma of hard roasted malts with a lightly burned note. Rather light body, very malty, lightly burned flavours. Dry, but still soft and very accessible. 281105

Near black, creamy head. Huge chocolate aroma. Soft and rounded withlots of coffee. This is malt covered in chocolate sauce and espresso.

May 18, 2008 Århus2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black and with a lacing tan head. Light bitterhops and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is almost tarish roasted malt with a dry hoppy note and a light liqourice note too. Ends dry and with a mild roasted acidic flavour.

Sep 6, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, coffe, berry (vanila / licorice). Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Oct 3, 2005 Casked. Dark amber colour, creamy small beige head. Weak roasted malt in flavour along with some malty hints. Dry (weak) roasted malt and some fruits in flavour. Dry finish and a bit sticky palate.
