Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
In the old brewery we had a problem with slugs getting into the brewery. As the beer leaves a trail down the glass as you drink it like a slug, that's how the beer was named. A delicious traditional porter with a full bodied taste of chocolate, coffee, blackcurrant and black cherry with a good aroma. A near black colour with a good white head when served through a tight sparkler.
Pale malt, crystal malt, black malt; Fuggles and Goldings hops.

Bottle. Nose-very much chocolate and coffee. Almost all opaque body. No head, just a film of bubbles. Good base porter flavor, but a little thin. Notes of coffee, fig, grape, and lactics.

Coffee in aroma. Big white head on reddish tinged black. Bold taste spurred on by the fruit. Medium mouthfeeel. Above average porter.

Aroma of stale ale baking in the sun. Deep black with a two finger thick mocha head. muted flavors of roasted malt with some even more muted chocolate and coffe. There is a pervasive thinness that gives this a very pale ale mouthfeel. Combined with flavor that almost, but doesn’t quite come out and you have a better than average Porter, but not a first rate, porter.

Cask @ Bishop’s Arms Malmö. Black/ dark brown colour. Small tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate in the aroma. Taste is roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. It has more stout taste to me than porter taste. But i like it.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark brown, close to black, with a vague underlying reddish tint. Creamy, beige head leaving a pretty lacework. Aroma of hard roasted malts with a lightly burned note. Rather light body, very malty, lightly burned flavours. Dry, but still soft and very accessible. 281105

Pours a dark orangish brown color. Aromas of bread, chocolate, and a hint of coffee. Flavor is kind of weak for a porter. Touch of caramel and chocolate in the flavor.
