3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle. Translucent brown color topped by a small creamy beige head. Roasted malt nose hints at dark toffee. Upfront, flavor is more roasted malt with notes of wood and black coffee. Smooth and mildly carbonated. Somewhat dry and bitter, with nutty, dark fruit in finish. Very complex and enjoyable. A delicious British Porter that does more with less.

Cocoa and earthy coffee nose, moderate strength. Maroon brown, clear. barely any head. Charred oak, generally dry but with a mildy sweeter finish. Remarkably light body, and soft carbonation. Drinks like a schwarzbier, very lagery in body and flavor.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Creamy head which lasts well. Roast malt and coffee on the nose. Full flavoured, good roast and malt balance with balanced bitterness. Lovely dark red brown colour. Finish is long and leaves a pleasant roast bitterness.
