COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned as On The Tiles.
The first beer brewed on the new site with the new plant. The name comes from Paul Davey M.D. and Graham Dunbavan Brewer and the Steam as we now had a steam boiler to heat the copper. This complex multi layered ale has a floral hop aroma with medium bodied hop, bitter taste with some fruit and sweetness.

Bottle @ Aarhus, 2008.
Pours hazy orange amber with a fine, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, soft malts and a bit of apple. Quite high carbonation. Mild flavour, light caramel and soft hops. A bit boring.

On Cask at NERAX 2008 Somerville, MA. Smooth and drinkable with an enjoyable citrus flavor. Aftertaste changes to slight hops in the end.

Small white head. Slightly hazy orange body. Light floral, fruity aroma with resiny, lemony notes. Dry-sweet resiny lemony taste with notes of straw and caramel. Clear hop presence in this one. Aftertaste is the same. Nice, especially for such a light beer. Definitely defined by the hops. (0.5l bottle at Cardinal as On the Tiles.)

Bottle. (As On The Tiles) What a gusher! Half the contents of the bottle ended up on gunnfryd’s floor and table. When in the glass, it’s a clear, golden beer, except for some microfloaties that is, and it has a beige head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with some sweetness. The flavor has a pleasant fruityness to it, and a little bitterness that I would like more pronounced. Medium body. Fruityness and hoppy bitterness in the finish. A sessionable ale, fruity and refreshing. (071215)

500 ml bottle, as RCH On The Tiles. 4% ABV. Hazy amber color, nice and lasting white head. Hoppy aroma. Flavor is hops, malt, fruit, caramell. Bitter finish. A bit watery, but very good for a low-alcohol beer.

500 ml bottle, as RCH On The Tiles, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned. ABV is 4.0%. Deep golden to orange coloured beer, slightly hazy, low off-white head. Very nice hoppy aroma, notes of tropical fruits. The flavour has a nice balance between the malts (with a hint of caramel) and the distinct and grapefruity hops throughout. Hoppy finish and aftertaste, but not too bitter. Possibly inspired by American pale ales? Anyhow, I like it!

Tasted as ’On The Tiles’, Bottle from my local indy seller...Pours a orange tinted golden colour, fluffy head with some lacing. Strong aroma of malt and hints of caramel, fruity and malty in the mouth, citrus tang, very nice. Dry quite bitter on the finish which I like a lot.
