500ml bottle (bottle conditioned) from Tuckers Maltings Beer Shop. Hazy ginger appearance with a loose, fluffy white head. Very powerful aroma full of zesty, spicy orange with touches of resinous hop. There is also a faint, but noticeable, smoky malt backnote . Rather more restrained and traditional on the palate. Tart fruit and dry, hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is quite prickly and the overall feel is rather sharp. A clean and refreshing beer.
