Cask Conditioned at the Hop Pole Inn, Aylesbury. Golden with a fluffy white head. Fruity aroma and fruity taste. Malty, sweet and moreish. Very nice.

Sweet in taste, amber and more or less cnammon colour, nice aroma and not annoying, gives the taste of strong.

Cask, Cow and Plough, Stoughton. Amber with an off-white head. Aromas are sweet toffee malts with caramel, fruit and hops spices. Flavours are rich and malty. Sweet citrus with some zesty sourness. Nice toffee malts. Some sulphur notes. Dry towards the finish with grapefruit bitterness. A good beer in great condition.

Beer number 11 in the Great Ayr/ Glasgow pub crawl. Cask at 3 Judges. Pleasant fruity amber bitter. Good body, nice to have something with a bit more complexity than the light blond bitters.

Theobald Arms, Essex. Golden amber best bitter with the accent on the pale malt, but with a pleasant earthy and tangy hop balance which lingers in the finish. A sharp fruit at the front which becomes juicy orange. Decent.
