Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale Gold with white head. Toffee caramel initially with a faint touch of peach. Then a developing citrusy note, but the beer was a touch off form. Reasonable.

Cask conditioned Handpump Cordwainer Northampton. A golden beer with a whitish head. Sweet and yeasty throughout. Hints of lemon. Attempts at citrussy flavours. A reasonable taste but so ordinary, and not Christmassy in any way.

FatPhil (5970) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 30, 2012
Cask (Regal (JDW), Cambridge)
Very malty mashy aroma. Simple malty taste. Adequate boring bitter. Unfortunately it’s sparklered, which did it no favours at all.
