3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at the Reads Landing brewpub, just south of Red Wing, MN. Pours a clear golden pale colored brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leaves behind minimal lacing with a thin white ring and a film top. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of creamed corn, floral hops and a hint of noble hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, a short-lived spice floral hops and a touch of crystal. Finish is quite neutral between dry and semi-sweet character, then a crisp and mild multigrain malt aftertaste that quickly disappears. A solid cream ale with a touch of spice hops.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Keg @ Reads Landing. Deep gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is a bit sickly sweet. Candy corn. Red apple skin. Some honeyed cereal. Flavor is a bit rough. Sickly apple concentrate. A bit paper. Ragged finish. Relatively light body, soft carb. Needs work.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Majority of 6 oz. pour, on tap at the brewpub. Consumed on 5-14-14. Pours a clear gold with wispy, beige head. Looks a bit too "beery" (a.k.a., like a macro pale lager). Very light, slightly dry aroma. Simple, dry, biscuity taste. Lively in the palate. Light body. Not offensive but utterly nondeScript. Not aimed at the connoisseurs, that’s for sure.
