4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Got in a trade with Cyde. 12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 8/20/2013. Pours moderately cloudy pale golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, light honey, and dank floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dank hop notes with a light malt balance; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, tangerine, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of dank floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Very nice complexity and balance of dank hop flavors; with a light-moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent hoppy blonde ale. All around nice balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. Really enjoyed this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
pours a nice golden color and has an aromatic hop presence. comes off like a pale ale or IPA and is nicely hoppy but not overly. Pretty easy drinking and a very nice refreshing clean beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hoppier than many supposed IPAs. Floral, resinous and citrusy with a malt and grain backbone.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured up gold with a really nice head that held on the whole way. Smells of hops and tastes of hops. This is like an IPA but for some reason is not labled as such. Citrus, little pine, small hint at that aluminum from the can. Just wish I could find this in bottle. Beginning to think it is not in bottles.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce can thanks to errl. Thanks! Pours a clean copper color with a big, fluffy white head of foam. Good retention. Aroma is earthy and herbal. Tastes very clean. The dry hopping really worked wonders here.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can at BTBF. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a white head. Aromas are of hops: grassy, tangerine, citrus and fruity. Very mild malt structure, light fermentation esters. Hops are show cased. Flavors are grassy, tons of dry hop resin character, citrus, herbaceous, tangerine. Grainy and dry. Lively carbonation, low body with a dry and crisp finish. I’d definitely pick up a few cans of this if it were locally available and fresh.

Can poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of straw, tea, grassiness and citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, grassiness, grapefruit zest and tea with a crisp lightly bitter lingering citrus finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice orange gold with a bit of lacing. Some citrus and floral hops on the nose...thinking simcoe dry hopping? Nice malt core and bitter finish. Solid canned IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can poured into a footed pilsner/flute glass. Appearance is a hazy golden yellow color with a frothy white head. Aroma is very bready, evidence of dry-hopping, citrus and grapefruit. Flavor is hoppy, dry and grassy bready. Finishes not very dry on the finish though which gives it a good palate. Much better than the original.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
What a delicious brew this was. I was expecting something a little bigger than regular fireman’s 4, but this really matches the brewery’s commercial description, and then some. Monstrously hoppy and pungent in both aroma and taste, with a bold body and ample carbonation. Highly recommended. My only disappointment is that so far I’ve only found it at the brewery. I may have missed what supply of it came to my town until next year. Had I known of its existence I would have sought it out.
