COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our unique anniversary ale is a fusion of the creative brewing traditions from Belgium and the USA. Copious additions of Amarillo hops from the Pacific Northwest complement the flavors of the Belgian yeast and spices, creating a new American classic. This ale is orange in color and hoppy, but not overly bitter, with citrus notes and a subtle spiciness. Raise a pint to our lucky 13th year! ABV: 7.0%, IBU: 37, OG(plato): 15.8

Sampled @ GABF! Copper colored brew with a light citrus, yeasty, biscuity aroma. Little bit of caramel and toffee but nothing really interesting here.

The beer pours a dark amber color with a white head. The aroma is some citrus notes with some alcohol and some caramel malt. The flavor is citrus, caramel, toffee, alcohol, brown sugar and some Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. While the alcohol is present, the beer is easy to drink and very tasty.

Dark copper pour at the Holy Grail in Plano, Tx. Not like most strong Belgian ales I have tasted, but still pretty good. Subtle oak notes and smokey taste remind one of a good scotch whiskey, without the bite. Thumbs up!!

Pour is deep golden and slightly hazed with a thin sticky white head...strongly hoppy grapefruit is the first thing to leap out of the glass...perfumey and vanilla still...not sticky and sweet in the least...still very attractive looking...somewhat leather nose as well...medium slick mouthfeel, not viscous like its barrel aged brother...tast is still a bit sweet for me, with some lively carbonation and lots of estery notes...maybe a hint of booze...finish is lingeringly sweet...
