12 ounce bottle form Whole Foods Austin. Big hoppy presence. Caramel throughout. The Cascade comes through on this one.

(12oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich copper, soapy tan bubbles. Nose of honey, chlorine, pine, cream, herbal. Taste is light alcohol, bit astringent, grapefruit, citrus zest oil, interesting beer but not the easiest drinker.

Pours dark amber with a large khaki head. Smells of hints of caramel and citrus. Taste is bitter with some malt sweetness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Real Ale Brewers’ Cut Imperial Red Ale finishes with a sweet twinge.

Great, but BIG beer with a crisp, dry finish. Complex, caramel malt. Not cloying or sugary. Intense yet smooth hop flavor puts it right up my alley. Extremely drinkable. Super easy on the palate with just enough mouthfeel to leave you sated but not overburdened.

Draft at the Dig Pub Cedar Park TX. Dark copper/brown. Sweetish (not Swedish) nose. Taste is full on traditional red ale, with a thick malt body, nicely incorporated hop profile, with a kick of an alcohol bite at the end. Dangerously drinkable.
