Bottle, pours a hazy amber with some white head, nice lacing. Great caramel and biscuity malt aroma, with some good hops added in. Flavor matches aroma pretty well, solid beer.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 mmmbeer (1154) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 11, 2013
UPDATED: APR 12, 2013 12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured transparent darkened brown with tints of orange and sunfaded maroon color, 2 finger white head quickly dissipated to some frog eyes and a thick white ring upon the vessel, which did actually lace. Aroma of bootleg hooch, a burnt malt, and overcooked caramel- el yummo as the homers say. Me- sucks balls. Hits the mouth with a medium body, any sort of enjoyment from the malt is drowned out by that same bootleg hooch and overpowering hops, which carries out through the finish. The real shame is spending $10 for a 4 pack while I could have spent just a few bucks more for a 6’er of Busch and a pint of Everclear, and had a much better time drinking. NOPE.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 DocJitsu (307) - California, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a clear, deep brown amber color with a thin medium caramel colored head. Aromas of pull candy and lemon grass. There are Christmas pull candy and sorghum flavors with hints of overripe fruit emerging. The mouthfeel is unassuming, yet appealing. Not bad, but not great.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BelgianBeerGal (2605) - Dayton Area, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Central Market bottle best by 12.11.13. A little bold to have a high hopped beer be "best" for a year but oh well. Nice copper color with a foamy tan head and bubbly lacing. Big hoppy aroma with some caramel too. Sweet and flavor that is almost syrupy. Pretty nice.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 rougeau13 (1608) - Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Amber-copper with a soapy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, grass, and citrus. Taste is malty and a little sweet, and moderately bitter. Balance is good. Medium bodied; slick.

(12oz bottle, BB 12.11.13) Pours a lightly hazy amber-orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruitiness, herbal, and toffee. Flavor of citrus, light pine, earth, caramel, and grass.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 alcaponejunior (350) - Texas, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Nice looking brew. Red and clear with a good lasting head and pretty good lacing too.
The nose is super hops with a side of hops. Lots of pine, citrus, lemon peel. Faint biscuit malt and caramel.
Flavor is nice, lots of hops come forth right away. Citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit peel, pine, along with a more pronounced and somewhat balancing malt character.
Body is a bit slick, pretty full, and finishes bitter from the hops.
I like this one, it’s damn tasty. Another success from Real Ale.
2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20 Beerenberger (800) - Fischer, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2013
Strong pine fragrance and hints of citrus comprise the aroma. A copperish brown pour with a mostly lasting tan head and an abundance of lacing. The taste is hops forward with just a hint of malts in the finish. Some alcohol and graininess in the aftertaste. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, way too hoppy for me. Sorry, I wanted to like this beer. I agree with an earlier comment that was not an easy drink.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Terminus (2894) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - FEB 8, 2013
bottle-pours deep red hue with tons of chunks with a spritzy off-white head and moderate lacing. nose is piney hops, dark fruit, licorice (almost like Bigfoot) and seems to smell like a barleywine. big bitter piney hops to start followed by alot of carmel malt sweetness followed by a resinous finish. its a bit sweeter in the malt profile than bigfoot, but its really a bigfoot clone if you ask me. Beer is tasty yet nothing new and inspringing. Lots of resin on the finish-earthy, herbal and lots of spruce. wish the appearance was better!
