COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Caramel brown with a hint of chocolate, Brewhouse Brown melds four kinds of malt to create a satisfying, thirst-quenching brew. Best enjoyed at 55 degrees, this ale is slightly rich and roasty, yet leaves a dry finish. It is the perfect companion for a hearty meal.

Bottle courtesy of crajun from the Local Beer Swap Threeve. Thanks Kevin. Pours a clear dark brown with a medium sized tanned beige head. Roasty malt, a touch of edgy paper to it, some dark plums and fruit. Medium bodied, plums, dark fruit, rather sweet for a brown and I get nothing nutty and malty. More sweetness moves into roast and a touch of chocolate. Sweetness into bitterness on the finish. Drinkable, but not overly exciting. Lacking crispness and bite.

I’m more of an amber beer fan, not a brown ale fan, but this one was pretty good coming out of the variaty pack.

Hints of caramel, milk chocolate, and roasted malts in the aroma. Sleek, appropriately carbonated mouthfeel. The taste is more roasted and less sweet than the nose portends. It definitely improves with temperature.

I don’t know, there was something about this one in particular that came with the 3 different variety pack. I absolutely loved it, dark brown and a little malty. Chocolate and a little roasty. I would definitely buy it again, in fact I have.

Drank from a 12 oz bottle. A little bland tasting for a brown ale. And dark for the style.

Poured from 12 oz bottle. For a brown ale, this beer has a very light taste and light hop palate. Quite drinkable. The chocolate flavor almost brings a porter flavor to mind, but is quite nice overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Uncle Billy’s in Austin. This is a lightly bodied brown ale that’s real easy to put down. Flavors of almonds and milk chocolate with a slight roasted meat note that pairs fantastically with BBQ. Slight hoppy aftertaste. Delicious.

Good brown ale. Deep brown color, slightly rusty in bright light. Thin head. Earthy, nutty with a little toasty caramel. A definite one for the go-to list.
