3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Dark, rich red color with a little white head. Aroma is mostly caramel. Flavor combines toffee, a little milk chocolate, and toast. Overly sweet, but not a bad beer and my favorite of the Real Ale mix pack.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ Hoppy Monk, El Paso. Is dark brown with nice lace. Smells like healthy dark malt. Tastes odd like a little sour like tamarind which is strange but adds balance. The acidity serves as an alternative to hops for balancing the malts. Odd but is drinkable and has a rustic quality that makes it fun to drink and rate.

Deep brown color with some tan head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, earthy hops, and a bit of chocoalte. More chocolate in the flavor which melds well with the smooth malts and hop bite.
