4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draught. Poured a hazy light gold, with a huge, fluffy white head that quickly faded into a disc on the surface. Good lacing. Nose is candi sugar and Belgian yeast. Taste is typical for the style, with candi sugar and notes of banana and clove dominant. Medium length finish with creamy mouth feel. Delicious

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2014 Not an expert taster, but i smell pear and herbs. Color of slightly watered down bourbon. AMAZING TASTE, smooth, light fruit, almost like a low proof fine liquor after letting sit for a few minutes.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Yeasty aroma. Pours a hazy bright golden with little head. Taste is complex with yeast, malt, banana, clove and coriander notes. A bit sweet on the finish. A really fine specimen of Belgian-style tripel.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This ale is medium to full bodied. It is cloudy but otherwise very light in color. The malt taste is rich, but the hops are a little too heavy for the malt, leaving a bitter after taste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
One of the better ’merican tripels I’ve had. Has the classic Belgian yeast aroma with citrus, clove and banana.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Brought a bottle of this back from a trip to Houston. This was great. Huge classic nose, maybe a tad hoppier than others in this style (which is good). Very classic Belgian yeast and flavors with a little more bitterness.
Great beer. That is 2 for 2 with me for Real Ale Brewing!! (Blakkr was fantastic).
