COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman’s #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

ACL festival in a can. DMS smell, mild bitterness, mineral, green apple taste. Overcarbonated mouthfeel. Dry finish. Disappointing

Aroma is minimal hops and a whiff of grain. A fizzy, inviting pour to a soft white head a half inch high. I adore the turbid, amber/orange. Stands soft and silky on the palate. CO2 dances in the mouth to release the hops and a waft of grain. Immediate swallow leaves no after taste. Delay the swallow releases a torrent of effervescence yet provides no olfactory gratification. I click or two above other general-purpose ales. God bless Texas. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone. Bottled sample from Knappster. Pours straw colour. Very tasty golden ale. Could have several of these ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 fl oz bottle. BB 11/26/13. (Salt Lick BBQ) Driftwood, TX.
Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Mild malty lagery aroma. The flavour is also very lagery with some bitterness and lost of maltiness. No nuances. Boring but not tasteless. Went down well with the barbecue.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a slightly unclear golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is quite weak, with grassy, lighlty peppery and piny hops. Some fruity hints. It’s quite thin on the palate, medium bodied to be fair, dry, and with a tad too much carbonation. Fruity notes, pale malts and a little bitterness in the flavor. Short frinish. A decent beer, flawless, but it fails to interest me, it’s too dull. 130828

Pours a hazy golden with a fine ivory head. Malty and fruity aroma is not strong, but invites a taste. Flavor is mainly malty with a fruity undertone and a hint of yeast, nothing special but palatable. Smooth texture has average thickness and fizz. So-so, but good with a meal.

This golden beer has a typical blonde aroma. It's aroma hides a more complex flavor. It hits your tongue with a sweetness that develops into an earthy wheat flavor which finishes very clean. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From can, white head that did not blossom at all. It also disappeared right away. Pretty malty taste with very little hops flavor coming through. Easy to drink and fits the brewery’s description pretty well. Good thirst quencher.

Tap at the Ginger Man, Houston, 21/05/13. Very lightly hazed blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is caramel, pineapple, sugars, light hops, grass. Taste comprises pale malts, citrus, oranges, pineapple, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finish. Average fayre - not much doing on the hop front, not one I’d revisit.

Draft. Pours golden with a small head. Aroma of yeast with light malt notes. Crisp with light malt flavors not much hop presence.
