2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
2010 Bottle - Not sure of the need for 4 different aliases of this brew, but oh well..pours clear golden with a large off white head...aroma is old grain and hay, dry corn malt...flavour totally reminds me of raw popped sorghum, dusty bitter grain, earthy, dry malt...not sure it matters much but I think Remember Alamo is way better tha Fireman 4...just saying...

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Disclaimer. Unwisely drank this beer right after a heavy IPA. Not much aroma to this beer. Light and grassy. Straw colored with a thin head. Refreshing.. Good beer to drink outside on a hot day.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden with a nice foamy white head. The nose has pilsner-like hoppiness, with a big earthy leafy bite with a banana-twinged pale cereal grain undertone. The flavor is crisp and medium bodied with a large lasting pale cereal chewiness throughout, and a bit of chewy dough.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
hay, cereal, bread aroma. Thin head that dissipates rather quickly. Golden color. Light sweetness and bitterness. Nice balance of hops and malts, although I prefer the former to the latter. Light body, thin texture. Soft carbonation.

ACL festival in a can. DMS smell, mild bitterness, mineral, green apple taste. Overcarbonated mouthfeel. Dry finish. Disappointing

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma is minimal hops and a whiff of grain. A fizzy, inviting pour to a soft white head a half inch high. I adore the turbid, amber/orange. Stands soft and silky on the palate. CO2 dances in the mouth to release the hops and a waft of grain. Immediate swallow leaves no after taste. Delay the swallow releases a torrent of effervescence yet provides no olfactory gratification. I click or two above other general-purpose ales. God bless Texas.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 fl oz bottle. BB 11/26/13. (Salt Lick BBQ) Driftwood, TX.
Hazy golden colour with a small white head.
Mild malty lagery aroma. The flavour is also very lagery with some bitterness and lost of maltiness. No nuances. Boring but not tasteless. Went down well with the barbecue.
