3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hoppy aroma (in actuality I would blame that on the rye) with skunky hints. Amber-Orange in color with a clear appearance. Head appears frothy-white upon pouring, dissapating rather rapidly. Medium-bitter taste with an impressingly smooth finish. Light body with a slimey/oily texture -the brew’s only downfall. The flat carbonation seems to contribute to this effect.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: has a small beige head that dissipates quickly, beer is a very hazy amber color"
Aroma: very slight malt sweetness, pretty bland and very subtle
Taste: slight malt sweetness, has a bitterness that kicks in after that, alcohol
Palate: lively carbonation, bitter aftertaste, medium mouthfeel
Overall: nothing stands out about this beer, it’s bitter, alcohol seems to be too prominent

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle a slightly hazy amber with a small head. Aroma of barley. Crisp and full on the palette with hints of dough and biscuit. The end is fairly bitter and slightly dry. Excellent! My thanks to a good friend who brought this bottle directly from Texas to Europe for me to taste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber red glow, looking Appetising. Clear caramel malts , light funk even from the rye. Moderately hopped, going into light fizzy body so not an impressive taste, but rich enough to be nice. It’s decent but a bit odd. (On tap at Easy Tiger Austin)
