(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of KAggie97. Slightly hazy amber golden with a very lively, tall and rough, off-white head leaving some lacework. Aroma primarily of yeast. Medium body with lightly fruity notes and plenty of yeast. Rather bitter finish. Well, if it wasn’t for the late hoppiness you could’ve mistaken this for a Dunkelweizen! Odd....040408

A: The pour is a clear, dark amber color with a thin white head and sticky lacing. S: The nose offers up plenty of spicy rye along with sweet malt. Unfortunately, not very much in terms of hop aroma. T: The rye and sweet malts seem to be a bit more in balance on the palate. There are also some fruity and sweet hop flavors to the beer. M: The body is medium with a low to moderate carbonation. D: An interesting beer and I liked what the rye added to it, but I would have preferred a bit more hoppiness to it.
