3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2010 Bottle - Pours a hazt golden with a large off white head...aroma is nicely citric and herbal, hop resin, rye malt...flavour is similar, light pithy bitterness, the rye adds some great body and grassiness, finish is toffee and resin...this is probably the best bottle I’ve had from real ale...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber red glow, looking Appetising. Clear caramel malts , light funk even from the rye. Moderately hopped, going into light fizzy body so not an impressive taste, but rich enough to be nice. It’s decent but a bit odd. (On tap at Easy Tiger Austin)

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draft. Dark ruby red color characteristic of the style. Flavor is slightly bready, the rye malts seem a little too thin. Not a lot of hop presence. Kind of watery overall. A so-so ryePA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at the Whiskey and Rye in the Omni hotel in Ft Worth The ale had poured with a white frothy head and a clear amber. There was some lacing. The aroma was of mild citrus. This is goof APA with some bitter citrus on the tongue. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with the normal bitterness of a good pale ale. Tthe bitterness was felt on the top of your mouth.
