3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle. Straw yellow with small white head. Smells like pilsner malt, grassy hops. Flavor is very bitter and crisp. Hops are spicy, herbal, and earthy in general. Great flavor and great lingering bitterness for a pilsner.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty solid beer. Straw yellow, decent bit of white head. Very crisp, definitely has a German feel, stays somewhat true to style which is nice. Definitely a little hoppier than tradition but still great.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light yellow, with a small white head. Big melony nose, lots of grain notes. Little bit of bitterness, a bit of sweetness. Quite light, a bit of carbonation. Medium finish, longer than average for a Pilsner. Quite good.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Light golden in color, meringue white head. Aroma was sweet and bready, crisp apples. A tad grainy on the tongue with a fresh grassy hoppiness. A bit bitter in the finish. Okay.

1.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Spicy hop, noble like but not as smooth with a bit of pils bready malt aroma. Cloudy with nice head. Firm but astringent and grassy hop flavor. Malt flavor is simple. Noticeable palate astringency. Bitter finish and aftertaste.

Can at home from Blutt59 although I see from JRedmond rate below I probably had at the FF tasting at Pauls but I dumped most all those ratings due to being drunk and not rating properly. Golden pour grainy nose. Tastes of grains, lemons, peppercorn, yeast, bready. Nice crisp slightly sweet. Nice

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
[2015 Backlog] Can at the FF tasting at Paul’s. Pours a hazy orange body with thick white head and decent lacing. Nose is citrus fruits - oranges, grapefruit, honey and light melon. Clean biscuity malts. Mouthfeel is light bodied with notes of fresh grassy hop profile, light melon, orange slices, clean pale malt and a clean bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. can from arminjewell- thanks, Armin! Pours a barely cloudy bright pale gold with a big white head that leaves heavy lace and settles unevenly. Notes of straw, pale and crackery and pils malts, grass, and a hint of a spicy, salty thing that seems like chicken broth. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Good pils with enough of a hint of uniqueness to set it apart.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not going to lie. I bought this beer solely because of a professor I had called Hans who was the MAN. His family fled Germany to Bolivia by way of Switzerland during WWII and accumulated great wealth along the way. There is more to that story than he was telling us, of that I am sure but I digress from rating this beer which is quite amazing. And made in Texas, so double down on the awesome. We’ve got a winner. Hoppy yet guzzably light. Slightly sweet in the finish with no lingering hops bitterness. An amazing beer named after an amazing man. PROST
