COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pilsner is one of the world’s most popular beers and there are many interpretations of this style. The great pilsner beers of Germany, specifically Northern Germany, are the inspiration for our second lager - Hans’ Pils. These beers are known for being hoppier than the average pilsner and ours is no exception. In fact, at 52 IBU’s, it is hoppier than many pale ales. The featured hop in this beer is the spicy and herbal Tettnang Tettnanger hop. German pilsner malt yields a pale golden color and provides the perfect support for our blend of German hops. Our house German yeast strain ferments clean and dry which further adds to the authenticity of Hans’ Pils.

What an amazing beer! The aroma is uber pungent with huge grassy notes. The first sip is pure delicious sweet grass. About mid way through the bottle, bitter comes to the back of the mouth. Yes, it is a refreshing... well, sipper beer. The hop aroma on this one reminds me of the authentic pilsners that I have had over in Czech.

Good version of the style. Aroma of lager yeast, grainy malts and spice. Light yellow color with a thin head. Light and clean palate with strong carbonation. This tasted like a pilsner with a slightly spicy hop bite. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Tap. Hazy straw, medium creamy white head, great lacing. Aroma is faint straw, hay, grain. Flavor follows, light light sweet, light bitter, grassy. Medium body, lingering bitter finish. Decent.

Light malty aroma with some floral and herbal hops notes. Really spot on for the pilsner style, light malt flavor with a very pleasant hop bitterness that brings spice and floral notes to the forefront. Excellent for the summer.

Real Ale brews one of the better pilsners in the US market. The aroma is rich and inviting and the carbonation not too heavy. The body is heavy to my idea of what a pilsner body should be but much closer to a true European brew than most and the brewers have achieved balance between malt and hop and hit the proper spicy note with the hop blend. The finish lingers. A good brew to sip all summer.

Clear gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, lemon, and grassy hops. Taste is grassy spicy hops, lemon, and grainy. Nice bitterness. Light body. Clean and crisp.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a white head and lacing. It has a malty aroma with a hop background. The flavor is similar, with a light malt taste and earthy hop backbone followed by a dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one really surprised me a crisp mildly bitter pils that is right on for the style. Taste like it came straight from germany
