COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pilsner is one of the world’s most popular beers and there are many interpretations of this style. The great pilsner beers of Germany, specifically Northern Germany, are the inspiration for our second lager - Hans’ Pils. These beers are known for being hoppier than the average pilsner and ours is no exception. In fact, at 52 IBU’s, it is hoppier than many pale ales. The featured hop in this beer is the spicy and herbal Tettnang Tettnanger hop. German pilsner malt yields a pale golden color and provides the perfect support for our blend of German hops. Our house German yeast strain ferments clean and dry which further adds to the authenticity of Hans’ Pils.

Great pils!!! Beer pours pale golden color with a retained egg white colored head. Aromas of straw and spices. Taste is strongly bitter. The finish is dry and spicy. A good beer, a great pils!

12 oz. can from arminjewell- thanks, Armin! Pours a barely cloudy bright pale gold with a big white head that leaves heavy lace and settles unevenly. Notes of straw, pale and crackery and pils malts, grass, and a hint of a spicy, salty thing that seems like chicken broth. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Good pils with enough of a hint of uniqueness to set it apart.

Not going to lie. I bought this beer solely because of a professor I had called Hans who was the MAN. His family fled Germany to Bolivia by way of Switzerland during WWII and accumulated great wealth along the way. There is more to that story than he was telling us, of that I am sure but I digress from rating this beer which is quite amazing. And made in Texas, so double down on the awesome. We’ve got a winner. Hoppy yet guzzably light. Slightly sweet in the finish with no lingering hops bitterness. An amazing beer named after an amazing man. PROST

Pours a clear gold. Thick head, lemony aromas. Grapefruit, lemon flavors, hints of hops. Nice ale.

Sourdough bread, grassy hops, earthy notes, lime, lemongrass, pepper, and cereal in the nose. The mouthfeel is runny, with a thin body and lots of gas. The taste is bitter, with a citrusy tart and very subtle malty sweetness. Malty flavors of saltines and bread crust are overpowered by a dry, earthy, citrusy zest that rounds it all out nicely. Very crisp.

Aroma: Light and citrusy. Pours: Clear and gold with a huge white fluffy head that takes time to dissipate. Taste: Nice crisp and clean hoppy taste with a slight saltine cracker/grassy flavor.

San Marco, TX - H.E.B. Grocery Store - 12 oz can. Medium golden pour, nice bubble action, snow white filmy head with a nice trail of lacing. Grainy aroma, some light nuttiness. Flavor is crisp with some light breadiness, some light saffron like spiciness some nuttiness in the back end. Mouthfeel has a decent crispness to it.

Can in Austin. Gold with a small head. Mellow straw and bright grassy hips. Taste is quite bitter, especially considering the style. Nice sweet bready balance. Light and easy to drink. Non traditional fun.

Can thanks to rightcross. Nose is very grassy and has that catty aroma like prima pils. Some soft crackers pils malt nose. Taste is initially bitter followed by more catty hop flavors but slightly less offensive than prima pils. Softer. Overall very quenching.

Crisp, clean, bright and hoppy. Clear yellow pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is hay and crisp, but mild citrus. Taste is similar. A very drinkable and enjoyabke beer.
