Bottle thanks to phaleslu. Thanks Peter! Pours clear gold with a light white head. Aroma is very subtle hops with hints of caramel malts. Flavor is sweet, light hops and bready malts. Flavor was a bit lacking, but an alright beer overall.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2012 12 oz. bottle via trade with a Texas buddy. Pours a clear gold color with a finger-thick white head. Aroma of crackers, caramel malts, corn flakes, faint earthy hops, and sweet dough. Flavor of corn flakes, sugar, sweet and bready malts, and some oily hops. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, chewy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The label said best by 07.19.11, but it seemed a little old to me because the hops had almost completely fallen out. Re-Rate: This was at Schlafly’s Repeal of Prohibition Festival, 2012. Got some hops out of it this time. Good, up-the-middle IPA.

From bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a decent head. Nice resin with lasting bitterness, but missing the West coast citrus, pine, and fruit. Some carbonation, and decent alcohol kick. I prefer Austin’s 512 IPA, but this is a good local session IPA as well, just with not as much character. A decent session IPA if 512 is not in the building...

Clear amber color/ ivory head. Mild, but nice, spicy, floral hop aromas. Medium mouthfeel with average co2. Smooth, lightly sweet malty caramel flavors with subtle spicy, floral hoppage, nicely bitter finish--good

12 oz. bottle courtesy of fata2683 - Pours a hazy amber color with a one finger thick off white head. Faint spotty lacing. Aroma is light dust. It’s kinda weird since the beer is a month and a half away from the "Best By" date. Flavor is esters, with a distant touch of sour. Medium body. I think this beer may be heading south. Thanks Keith.
