12 ounce bottle, bought some local Tx beers while I was in Dallas, nice amber pour, good hops aroma, slightly grassy bitter hops taste, a bit of malt, would drink again

2/26/2014. 12 oz. bottle. Amber color with a short white head. Aromas are malty with spicy hops and tropical fruit. Caramel flavors, bitter hops, pine and citrus. Good but not great.

Location: Draft at the CIA in San Antonio, 1/24/14

Aroma: The nose is decently hoppy, citrus/orange, some pine, and a little toasted malts
Appearance: It pours a gold-orange color with average head and lace to it
Flavor: The flavor is light sweet and medium bitter, similar to the nose component-wise
Palate: The body is medium, it has a soft carbonation, average mouthfeel, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid one. It isn’t a standout IPA, just a solid, drinkable example of the style.

Nice active carbonation, medium bitter yet lingering. Fresh grassy and floral hops, bit simple perhaps. Smooth bitterness that isn’t helped by the active carbonation. Nice local ipa, but this won’t win the rest of America I reckon. (Bottle drank at The Salt Lick bbq)

Poured from a 12oz bottle I got in a trade. Aroma is citrus and pine. Flavors are grapefruit, citrus, pine, and floral. Great Ipa, very nice and balanced not overly dry or bitter. My first real ale beer, very solid can’t wait to try more!

Medium sized white head, fluffy and lasting with a swell coating lace. Lightly hazy, gold colored brew. Nose is soft with citrus and faint pine. Lightly, medium bodied with a gentle carbonation, little resin and slight acidity. Nice flowery hop flavors plus citrus and spices, pale malts backin,em up, little burnt rubber too. Dry, fruity finish. Nice quaffer. Dont know who to thank for the bottle as i didnt mark it like i usually do. Thanks so much! Decent.

Level strong hops throughout. Not much going on other than bitterness. Good IPA if all you care about is a single uncomplicated flavor profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
