2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear orange with a full white head. Slightly floral aroma, maybe a little orange. Smells a little past its prime. Taste is a bit bitter and the flavor is biscuity. The hops have faded a bit on this one. Drink by is in a month and these are usually dated 6 months out so guessing 5 months old.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. BBD 7/22/14. Pours a thick well retained ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy gold (SRM 5) body....nose is sweet with floral honey tones, pine, resin, light citrus tones, minimal esters, light cereal....taste is slightly sweet malts with light toffee/caramel tones, honey notes, pine, resin, citrus peel, ending with a moderate lingering bitterness....mouth feel, medium body, slightly sticky, minimal astringency, light acid finish. This is a quite typical American take on an IPA. The hops are dominant in aroma, flavor and complexity. The bitterness is on the light side compared to "Left Coast" confections, but it is quite refreshing. BJCP 8/3/15/5/7

Serving: from tap at Tolbert’s Restaurant.
Aroma: none detected.
Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head with excellent lacing and mostly lasting longevity. Cloudy, light-amber body.
Taste: moderately bitter, piney initial flavor and finish with average duration.
Palate: medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: excellent flavor. Nice bitterness--moderately bitter, but not obnoxiously so. Great appearance to match.
