Real Ale Lost Gold IPA has a medium, off-white head, and a hazy, yellow-orange appearance, with lots of bubble streams, tiny brown specks floating about, and a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is strongly of sweet, grapefruit and maybe some sweet, white bread. Taste is the same, with robust bitterness up front. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Real Ale Lost Gold IPA finishes dry, refreshing, and relatively easy drinking. Overall, this is excellent. RJT

Bottle:   Amberish, fairly hazy, moderate white head, foamy, with nice lacing.   Somewhat of a hoppy honeydew melon sort of flavor.   A bit fruity in a melon sense.   Slight candied citrus peel.   Smooth hoppy and rather sweet citrus and melon on the tongue.   Flavorful without being too bitter.   Probably one of the sweeter IPAs I have had in a while.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly full bodied.   Lots of candied citrus peel and sweet hops on the finish.   Lingering sweet hops, yet without much bitterness.   Enjoyable, and a little different from the norm.

Tasty but somewhat nondescript ipa with a nice aroma and an orange hue. Medium bitterness stays on the tongue long after it’s gone.

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, light amber hue with a full, frothy head. Nicly hoped taste, with a bitter finish.

Had out of a bottle, poured a hazy orange hue with a huge foam and even lacing. Has a citrus /basement aroma with a bitter taste. It’s a firm IPA.

Deep golden pour. Hazy. Fluffy pure white head. Decent lacing. Very citrusy hop aroma. Lots of grapefruit, lemon, melon, and some pine. Flavor is very similar to flavor. A mosaic of hop flavor. Grapefruit and lemon flavors most prominent. Slight caramel sweetness. Finishes pretty bitter and dry. ---Rated via iPhone

Strong, crisp hop flavor. A slightly narrow palate. Bitter taste clings to your checks.
