COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Oktoberfest is brewed with the highest quality German malts, hops and yeast using traditional Bavarian brewing methods. The Munich and Vienna malts are the real stars of this smooth, copper-colored, medium-bodied brew. Well balanced and satisfying, our first lager is the perfect complement to your fall festivities. Prosit!!!!

Aroma is strongly malty. Pours a goldish brown with just a bit of head from tap into a pint glass. Mouthfeel is medium/thick with a bit of carbonation bite. Beer is very malty and sweet with just a bit of a spice bite. Some caramel and oaty tastes in there as well.

Pours a very nice coppery color with white head. Caramel malts, some light hops, and some roasty character on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more malt. Really great example of the style.

12oz bottle 12/9/10 (Whole Foods-Lamar)-Pours a hazy amber with a decent off white head. Aroma of malt and corn. Taste of malt, caramel, and sweetness. This medium bodied brew is not my favorite style but this one was rather tasty.

Best by: 29OCT11 A: pours a orange hued brown ale with near excellent clarity and a transient light beige head. A speckled mirror sheen remains outlined by foam. No lace. S: smells like grain and some alcohol surprisingly. A hint of floral tones. T: sweet, nutty, oxidized. Not too impressive. Should have some sweetness here. M: medium bodied with light carb. O: not privy to this one. I like marzen, but this was over oxidized. Serving type: bottle 08-18-2011

Good piney aroma. Golden copper color with a white head. Crisp and clean palate. Not too heavy. Flavors were hoppy with a strong bitterness that lasted. Decent malt backbone but not much sweetness. Easy to drink and surprisingly good. Goes well with food.

Location: Draft at Ginger Man, Houston, 10/8/13

Aroma: It has a clean, grainy malt nose, with some caramel, and light hop notes
Appearance: This one pours a clear caramel color with a small head and some spotty lace
Flavor: It also has a clean, malty flavor, it is light-mid sweet, and has a mild bitterness
Palate: This is an easy drinking beer, with a clean feel, average carbonation, and an okay finish
Overall Impression: Overall, clean seems to be the underlying theme of this beer. I thought this was a decent example of the style. I really wanted to score this higher, but I just couldn’t find a good reason to do so.

A nice looking marzen, deep orange and perfectly clear, with a good light orange head. Aroma and flavor are complete malt bombs, perfect for an octoberfest beer. Tastes like they went heavy on the Munich malt, perhaps my favorite of all malts. Hops provide bitterness to balance and a bit of crispness, but aren’t the stand-out for this one, only a balancer. Easy drinking body and clean lager crispness make this a very tasty october treat. As usual, I am not disappointed in any way when I pick up RABC beers.

Nice dark amber, thin off white head. Nose is caramel & citrus. Bittersweet. Middle is figs. Finish is bready and a little hoppy.
