Suttree (2355), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 17, 2008 Thanks to KAggie97 for the trade. Almost clear, thin white head. Pretty much a typical Pale Ale - not that that is a bad thing. Some fruity, toasty notes, and a nice citrusy, hoppy flavor. A bit a toasty malt to balance things out. Tasty session ale.
rustychiles (489), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 12, 2008 Updated: Oct 14, 2008On Cask at Gingerman Austin. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hops, malt. flavor is hop......btterness and malt.. OK dipa but nothing special. DrHomolka (607), Columbus, Ohio, USA Oct 7, 2008 12oz bottle best by December. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Aroma is beery, malty and grainy. Not entirely pleasant. Taste is slightly malty, balanced, inoffensive. This doesn’t smell too great and it certainly doesn’t taste great but it isn’t bad. My least favorite of the Real Ale beers I’ve tried. Not bad though just a little boring. Pastor (280), Maine, USA Oct 3, 2008 Thanks to mhewes for this one
Bottle poured into a standard pint glass produced a thin white head that went to lace, on a slightly hazy light copper body.
Aromas of bread and a light hoppiness as well filled my nose
Flavors of the brew are nice mild malts and hops; mouthfeel is light and crisp as well
Easy to drink it was a chore not to kick it back and guzzle. I had better pales even from Texas at that .Not to much of a pale ale in my mind a very average brew
punkeedo (383), San Antonio, Texas, USA Sep 30, 2008 2008. Bottle. A run-of-the-mill American Pale Ale. Smells of light hops and malt. Taste somewhat herbal due to a light spiciness to the hops. Aftertaste of malt and light alcohol. Not much to freak out about, generally good. nhamilton (14), Cibolo, Texas, USA Sep 9, 2008 Thought the beer was stale at first, but bubbles appear as if by magic to form a small, white, head. There is a hint of carmel, perhaps from the Czech hops. It is bitter, but does not leave an aftertaste.
