Mr_Stitch (119), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice warm honey color with an eggshell color head that disappears slowly leaving a nice blanket over the beer as you drink. Aroma was filled with hops, citrus, and pine. Taste was nice, light malty sweetness up front and clean hoppyness in the finish. Mouthfeel was good, medium body with a slight tang caused by the carbonation. A middle of the road pale ale, I could have a couple of more of these if I ever make if back down to Texas.
xShanex (18), Mansfield, Texas, USA Jul 16, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with a light offwhite head. Smell is strong of hops as well as the taste. This beer is lacking something though. Have another? Eh. AndrewKScott (246), Lemont, Illinois, USA Jul 15, 2008 Picked this up at Speck’s in Houston. Pretty smooth, fruity pale ale. Yeah, this is one of the best things in texas. In fact, after the scorching, 100 degree heat, it’s pretty refreshing to reach for one of these. aplusbreaks (24), , Colorado, USA Jul 3, 2008 Bottle courtesy of mar. Pours hazy orange-amber with a very small white head. Aromas of citrus notes, hops and a little doughy. Flavors of toasty malts at the front and finishes with citrus/fruits and a bit of hops.
