Bottle conditioned just like a brew should be. Poured up a deep gold, but need to pour slow to avoid sediment. Yep I poured one of them in my glass a bit too quick and the sediment was swimming in it. Really nice white head that holds. Aroma of strong hops, almost like an IPA. Flavor is loaded with a somewhat spicy very citris hops. The Herkules hops are good and with the amount of hop flavor and aroma I was a bit suprised to find it only had an ABV of 5.1%. Was expecting it to be more since the hops are so strong figured more malt would have been needed to keep the bitterness in check. Guess that goes to show the strength of the Herkules hop.

Excellent. Had a spiciness that really stuck with it. Complex with some cinnamon and clove overtone that is missing from many pale ales. Bitter enough that one could think it an IPA, but really just an excellent pale. On draft at the Hoppy Monk in El Paso.

Pours clear golden orange with a medium white head. Smells of subtle citrus and pine. Taste decently bitter with a subtle citrus kick. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and average mouth-carbonation, Real Ale Brewer’s Cut Signature Hop Pale Ale finishes with a tingly bitterness.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good looking brew, tannish orange and mostly clear with rising bubbles and a great 1.5 finger white fluffy head and good lacing.
Aroma is great! Crisp and spicy hops are very up front. Pepper and citrus, some earthy malts, and a little fruit.
Flavor is also quite good. Very hoppy for a pale ale, this could easily be an IPA from all the hops flavor, but it’s not quite as bitter. Earthiness and peppery spices again make a showing, along with some citrus and a little biscuit malt.
Body is pretty rich and full for a typical pale ale, yet drinkability is maintained. An earthy hop bitterness finishes it off.
Overall this is a very likeable beer and I’m glad I took the chance and bought a whole sixer of it. I will now have to try more beers from this brewery!

Brewer’s Cut bottle.
Cloudy light yellow. Aroma is hoppy, light citrus, malt. Flavors follow through. Taste is bitter, w/ a touch of sweet. Hop Pale Ale is a good description, as it’s not quite an IPA but far more flavorful than a pale ale.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a decent cheddar orange with a nose of Texas wind: grapefruit rind with dusty Hill Country rock fruit notes. Flavor is grapefruit peach with a touch of biscuit syrup. Nice mouthfeel. Great beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow, impressive. It pours a light golden color, very clear and thin in appearance, with a somewhat airy, bright white head and patchy lacing. The aroma is fresh, wet, and strong of spicy, green citrus hops. The lightness of malts and low amount of residual sweetness allows for the hops to really come through. It’s like HD for beer: you taste every crevice of the hops that would have otherwise been clouded over by the malts. Very nice.
In the mouth it feels much like it looks. There’s a faint, low-lovibond caramel sweetness that manages to surface. Otherwise, the flavor is dominated by the great flavor of Herkules hops. Earthy, fresh, and slightly citrusy, the variety a great match for the light caramel malt body and makes for a really great flavor palate. An herbal, citrusy hop bitterness carries through to the finish, fresh and clean and leaving you jonesing for the next sip. Overall, this is a very classy beer that’s delicately hooped with a massively acidic hop variety, and done so spot on.

On tap at square burger, mckinney. Pours a rich copper with a thin white head. The aromas are light citrus, bread. The mouthfeel is dry, bitter and has a medium body with good carbonation. This is great for the style! Cheers!

Bottle thanks to errl. Golden pour with a white head. Nose is fresh cut grass, citrus, light bitterness. Easy on the palate, fresh hops, florals, faintly bitter, and grass.
