2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 11, 2005
Bottle pours a clear vibrant yellow, rather large white head, fine bubbles, subtle carbonation, with fairly attractive lacing.   Craptastic grain/corny aroma... damn, and it looked so good.   Pale straw like flavor, thankfully not very grainy or corn like.   Body and mouthfeel seem average.   Slight corn developing on the finish   Boring, but unoffensive.   Certainly looked good, but came across as rather average.

Bottle. Poured clear pale color with a minimal frothy white that diminished quickly with virtually no lacing. Moderate grass hop aroma. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a sweet finish of short duration. More drinkable than my expectation.
2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Gorbalev (2823) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2010
Clear bottle, thank you Colin and Kendra. Medium yellow, no head at all. Typical very corny aroma. Taste not nearly as offensive as aroma suggests. In fact not offensive at all - quite a lot of malt for the style. Hops, which are present, are fruity. Good lively carbonation, again, not as expected based on very flat appearance. As far as pale lagers go, this one has some flavour and is not bad - I’d happily drink it at a sun spot vacation.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - MAY 8, 2004
Bottled. Standard larger. Amber, rather then pale nonsense that you tend to get from hot countries. Standard larger non-descript beer.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Oakes (10936) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - MAR 13, 2006
Straw colour with a whispy head. Slightly grainy aroma, maybe some light hop. Grainy, sour taste...not entirely horrid but has little to offer besides a late bready pale malt note.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 12, 2004
Dark gold with aromas of corn and hops. Looked promsing, but turned out to be nothing more than another characterless lager. Good and easy to drink in the heat. Fairly light and crisp with no aftertaste.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 PorterPounder (4610) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 16, 2008
Columbia, SC - Total Wine - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, long lasting white head. Corny aroma, lots of yeast. Flavor is full of corn and yeast with some soggy kids generic supermarket brand cereal. Tired mouthfeel. About what I expected.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 heemer77 (5008) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - OCT 5, 2005
Light gold body with a long lasting white head. The aroma is rich with some lettuce and celery. The taste has some celery with a hint of old corn. There is also a musty and grassy finish. An ok lager, the colder, the better.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - AUG 22, 2005
Clear yellow appearance, decent head. Grainy, mildly spiced hop nose. Standard pale lager with modertae malt and a light hop finish. Better than swill.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Bov (8158) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 3, 2004
transparent golden colour, the initial foam quickly disappears, some aromatic hops give it a buttery nose, the body is light and crip with a short dry finish - very forgettable
